Robbins Music was created when our founder, Michael Robbins, asked the simple question:
“What would be the perfect music education experience?”
The answer included small class sizes, an engaging curriculum where each student would learn at their own pace, and affordable prices.
This dream has been realized!
For several years, Michael tried to achieve this goal in the public schools by writing his own curriculum that was focused on creating enjoyable lessons that inspired his students to want to learn more about music.
After several years, he realized this perfect music environment couldn’t be created in the public schools. The public schools were mired in over-testing, and the class sizes are too large. So, he took a risk and resigned from the public schools to start Robbins Music.
Robbins Music was a success from the start. Parents noticed their kids enjoying music and started spreading the word.
In just three years, Robbins Music became one of the largest music studios on the Treasure Coast. With little advertising, most of the new students were referred by parents and students who told their friends.
While Robbins Music has grown and now employs several local music teachers, we always stay true to our founding philosophy:
All students should have enjoyable and engaging musical experiences.
